Casey Brucker
Research Associate
MS student
Ecological Stoichiometry Cooperative
Co-supervised with Amy Krist
BS, Conservation and Restoration Ecology, Utah State University
Casey joined Sarah’s lab and the Ecological Stoichiometry Cooperative to assist with the development of the STOICH database. She is interested in aquatic ecology and snow sciences, and how related systems are affected by climate change and local disturbances. As part of her work as a research associate, Casey developed a project about seasonal patterns in alpine lake ecology and stoichiometry, and will be developing that work into a MS project in 2023-2024. Her research interests are heavily influenced by her love of nature and backcountry pursuits.
