Ally joined the lab in June of 2024 as a member of the WY-ACT Project. She assists sampling across many projects—working with buoys, FLAMe-ing, stream monitoring, and fyke netting. Her past research experience involves working to conserve wild rice populations in northern Wisconsin, and assessing zebra mussel density in Lake Mendota. Outside of research, Ally loves hiking, moseying around local shops, and snatching aquatic plants out of the water in hopes of identifying them!
